Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Rep. Greg Gasataya jointly inaugurated two new school buildings, worth a total of P48.7 million, in two secondary schools in Bacolod July 5.
Both projects were started by Leonardia when he was congressman, and were continued by Gasataya.
In the morning, they inaugurated the new 4-storey, 20-classroom building of Emiliano Lizares National High School in Barangay Granada. The project costs P33,755,998.
In the afternoon, the mayor and the congressman inaugurated the new 3-storey, 9-classroom school building of Luis Hervias National High School in Barangay Villamonte, worth P14,970,114.
In Granada, they were joined by Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Councilor Renecito Novero, DepEd Bacolod Schools Division Superintendent Cynthia Demavivas, DPWH-Bacolod District Engineer Abraham Villareal, Assistant District Engineer Leah Jamero, Barangay Captain Alfredo Talimodao Jr., and School Principal Felino Meñosa.
In Villamonte, Leonardia and Gasataya were joined by Demavivas, Villareal, Jamero, BCPO Acting Director Senior Supt. Jack Wanky, and School Principal Maricon Rosareal.*City PIO
