Aside from Calea and Felicia’s 6th St., one place to go for your brewed coffee in Bacolod is Toastbox, the sister [?], daughter [?] company of the famous Breadtalk. Here, the coffee is done the way it was in Old Asia: with a colador [sieve] and it is aerated to bring out the full flavors.
Aside from the coffee it also offers kaya toast sweetened by coconut jam and covered by floss. It also offers a respectable Nonya Laksa: a noodle soup in creamy, hot broth.
Toastbox is in Robinson’s Place Bacolod.
