Dizon Ramos Museum


The old house of Hermelinda Villanueva Ramos of Bacolod and Raymundo Lumanlan Dizon of Porac Pampangga it was built on Sept 30, 1950 by Architect Perfecto Marzona at the cost of Php 60,000.

While it was built during the post war years, it was designed along the lines of a typical Filipino “Bahay Kubo” with touches of American inspired design. The living quarters are located on the second floor; the ground served as the garage for the Cadillac.

A year after Mrs. Dizon passed away in 2006, her children, the late Bro. Rolando Ramos Dizon FSC, Josefa Ramos Dizon Alunan Puentevella and the late Rodolfo Ramos Dizon decided to turned the house into a museum.
The museum was inaugurated on August 15, 2007. It has several exhibits focused on different subjects and interests: The Masskara Gallery, Bella Galang Doll collection, Marina Montinola Silos Keychain gallery, Bro. Roly’s Crystal collection, Rudy’s Horse figure collection, Alunan -Puentevella’s toys, The Holy Land Gallery, Hermelinda’s Hall, Ramdiz Studio and on the second floor is the lifestyle exhibit. From September until a day before ash Wednesday the museum is turned into a Christmas house from Ms. Bella Rivas Galang Collection.
The Museum open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 12 noon and 1:30 to 5 pm.
